  History

In 1976, ALKORTA ANAIAK began trading in the food business, evolving in the handling of different products until 1993, year in which the company decides to specialise in cod.

In 1997, COMERCIAL ALKORTA ANAIAK is set up as a limited liability company.

In 1998, at the height of its business activity, the company decides to invest in new and spacious facilities together with the most up-to-date equipment for the purposes of handling foods with cod as its main product.
